UMGC Fall Volunteer Challenge! 

Make a Difference & Earn Swag! 


When: November – December 2025 


Goal: Volunteer with local or virtual organizations, log your hours, and compete for recognition! 


How to Participate: 

  • Choose any volunteer opportunity. 

  • Log your hours on the UMGC Volunteer Platform by December 31. 

  • Earn swag and volunteer badges for your efforts! 


Competition & Prizes: 

  • Compete for Best Volunteer and special swag 

  • Best Student Organization participation will be featured in a spotlight

  • Submit hours for an automatic raffle entry — 10 volunteers will win swag items

  • Winners announced in early January!

Ways to Volunteer: 

  • Check the UMGC Volunteer Platform for a list of in-person organizations and opportunities.  

  • Visit this document for a list of virtual opportunities

  • Help out in your community, church, children’s school, or military service organizations (such as the USO), and be sure to log your hours.
